Improving Parent/Teacher Communication through Technology (K-12)

Description: Participants will learn how to incorporate websites, e-Boards, and Apps into their daily schedule. Teachers will learn how to post assignments and participate in individual/small group conversations.
Expected Outcomes for Teachers: Eliminate wasted time. Streamline conversations. Clearly set expectations and deadlines. Maintain records.
Expected Outcomes for Students: Gain access to worksheets, PowerPoints, labs, and other assorted assignments. Improve accountability and communication.
Dates: Wednesdays September 21st September 28th October 5th October 12th
Time: 3:30 – 4:45 p.m.
Location: MHS Computer Lab
Credit: 5 hrs. = ½ in-service credit
or
Stipend: 1 hr. = $45.
*NOTE: As there are a limited number of stipends ($45/hour) available, teachers will onlybe allowed to apply for one stipend. Stipends will be on a first-come, first served basis, withpriority given to teachers at Masters Level 75.
IN ORDER TO RECEIVE CREDIT, EVIDENCE OF COMPLETEDWORK MUST BE PROVIDED TO THE COURSE INSTRUCTOR.
