Course: MTC #102-22
Enhance Instruction with Online Support Using Seesaw and HMH into Reading Platforms (K – 5) (Laptops or iPads required)

Instructor: Kelly Alerte

Description: This course provides teachers with updates and new resources associated with using SeeSaw in the classroom, to enhance student learning. Teachers will also be provided with support in the implementation of the HMH into Reading English Language Arts Curriculum. Teachers will explore the online platform, trouble shoot existing issues, ask questions, and share resources and best practices in a professional learning community.

Expected Outcome for Teachers: Teachers will be able to gain further knowledge regarding SeeSaw in the classroom, while also gaining support for the implementation of the HMH into Reading Curriculum.

Expected Outcome for Students: Students will receive higher quality instruction due to teachers building upon their understanding and supporting one another in implementing a new curriculum.

Next Generation Learning Standards to be addressed: ELA K – 5: Key Ideas and Details, Craft and Structure, Integration of Knowledge and Ideas
