Malverne Teacher Center 2017-2018
Course: MTC #104-18 Technology in the Classroom
Instructor: Craig Vella
Description: Teachers will learn about apps and computer programs that can be used in their subject areas and their grade levels. The teachers will be exposed to apps on the iPads that can help students master their subjects while integrating technology. The course will adjust as needed to best meet the needs of those enrolled. A doodle survey will be sent to registrants before the first course so that the instructor can be prepared with ideas for the teachers attending. The focus will be adjusted for the rest of the course based on the needs of the teachers.
Expected Outcomes for Teachers: Teachers will be more knowledgeable about apps and programs to make their subjects come alive through technology. They will learn how to be more efficient using technology.
