Time Out for Team Building – Develop Fun, Engaging Challenges for All Subject Areas (K – 12)

Instructor: Shannon Kelly

Description: Teachers will delve into a variety of age-appropriate collaborative activities that can be used in the classroom to foster creativity and critical thinking in students. Activities stem from the “Fun Fridays” activities utilized in the Herber science research class.

Expected Outcome for Teachers: A cache of activities that can be used throughout the year in their classroom.

Expected Outcome for Students: Fun and excitement as they work together to solve an array of challenges that will allow them to use their creativity and critical thinking skills while working in groups.

Next Generation Learning Standards to be addressed: Addresses all standards.

Dates: Wednesdays January 12, 2022     CHANGED TO 2/9 and 2/16!!!!

Time: 3:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Location: HTH Room 314

Credit: 5 hours equals ½ in-service credit
or
Stipend: 1 hr. = $45.
