Course: MTC #107-18 Grant Writing Part II

Description: Participants will review the basics of educational grants and investigate subject and grade specific grants. All participants will submit at least one grant proposal prior to the end of the course.
Expected Outcomes for Teachers: All participants will submit a minimum of one grant proposal prior to the end of the course and will be equipped to investigate, prepare, and submit future grants.
Expected Outcomes for Students: Students will benefit not only from any grants received, but also from the project ideas developed by their teachers should those projects become feasible without grant funding.
Dates: Tuesdays March 20th, March 27th
Time: 3:30 – 6:00 p.m.
Location: MHS Computer Lab
Credit: 5 hrs. = ½ in-service credit
or
Stipend: 1 hr. = $45.
*NOTE: As there are a limited number of stipends ($45/hour) available, teachers will only be allowed to apply for one stipend. Stipends will be on a first-come, first served basis, with priority given to teachers at Masters Level 75.
IN ORDER TO RECEIVE CREDIT, EVIDENCE OF COMPLETED WORK MUST BE PROVIDED TO THE COURSE INSTRUCTOR.
