Malverne Teacher Center
Welcome to the 2022-2023 School Year

The Malverne Teacher Center serves the Malverne school district’s educational community. In conjunction with the Malverne school district’s administrative team, we provide professional learning opportunities for our teachers, teaching assistants, and teacher aides.

The Malverne Teacher Center is governed by a Policy Board primarily composed of practicing teachers who have been approved by the president of the Malverne Teachers Association.

Our goals include assisting educators in assessing and meeting the learning needs of all students and providing educators with training to improve their teaching skills. We do this in a location and atmosphere that fosters congeniality and the sharing of resources, ideas, methods and materials. The Malverne Teacher Center continues to help educators employ the latest and most effective technology. There is an emphasis on teaching higher order thinking skills so our students will be well equipped to meet the challenges of our rapidly changing society.
