Description: Teach Channel TEAMS is a joint venture with MUFSD. The district supports the training, licenses, and on-going support from Teaching Channel. Teachers attend five one-hour sessions on specific topics, and then spend five one-hour sessions on-line, posting videos and comments, demonstrating their new learning.
Expected Outcomes for Teachers: Teachers will gain insights and expertise from colleagues who excel in specific areas, and will implement new learning with their students.
Expected Outcomes for Students: Students will benefit from their teachers’ mastery of certain areas of pedagogy.
Time: 3:15 – 4:15 p.m.
Location: MWD Library
Credit: 10 hrs. = one in-service credit
or
Stipend: 1 hr. = $45.
*NOTE: As there are a limited number of stipends ($45/hour) available, teachers will only be allowed to apply for one stipend. Stipends will be on a first-come, first served basis, withpriority given to teachers at Masters Level 75.
IN ORDER TO RECEIVE CREDIT, EVIDENCE OF COMPLETED WORK MUST BE PROVIDED TO THE COURSE INSTRUCTOR.
ON-LINE REGISTRATION ONLY CLOSES AT 3:00 P.M. ON THURSDAY, OCTOBER 19th. (PAPER REGISTRATIONS WILL NO LONGER BE ACCEPTED)
