Differentiating Instruction: Strategies for Increasing Student Learning at Different Levels
Instructor: Christina Daly
Description: Teachers will learn strategies to differentiate product, process, and environment in order to meet student needs and increase learning. Will include lecture, activities, and collaborative discussion. Please bring a unit of study or topic that you would like to work with.
Expected Outcomes for Teachers: Teachers will leave with several strategies to use in order to increase learning for all students.
Expected Outcomes for Students: Increased student learning and access to rigorous content.
Dates: Wednesdays October 26th and November 9th
Time: 3:30 – 6:00 p.m.
Location: MWD Library
Credit: 5 hrs. = ½ in-service credit
or
Stipend: 1 hr. = $45.
*NOTE: As there are a limited number of stipends ($45/hour) available, teachers will only
be allowed to apply for one stipend. Stipends will be on a first-come, first served basis, with
priority given to teachers at Masters Level 75.
IN ORDER TO RECEIVE CREDIT, EVIDENCE OF COMPLETED WORK MUST BE PROVIDED TO THE COURSE INSTRUCTOR.
