Paper “Less” Classroom using OneNote, Forms, etc.
Instructor: Danish Nadeem
Description: Topics covered will include: Using OneNote for in-class notes; using OneNote and Turnitin for homework; using other paperless assessments for tests and quizzes (OneNote, Forms, Albert); using OneNote to set up student and teacher notebooks and content areas; using Forms and Turnitin to set up assignments for student completion.
Expected Outcome for Teachers: Teachers will be able to create a format for classroom notes using OneNote and PPTs. They will be able to set up homework assignments in OneNote, and quizzes and tests using electronic platforms. Teachers will set up their notebooks and content libraries for student access, and will practice using Microsoft Forms to create assessments.
Expected Outcome for Students: Students will be able to set up and use a OneNote notebook along with Microsoft Forms and Turnitin.
Date: Wednesdays November 7th, 2018
December 5th, 2018
Time: 3:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Location: Malverne High School, Room 301
Credit: 5 hours equals ½ in-service credit
or
Stipend: 1 hr. = $45.
*NOTE: PROVIDED FUNDING IS AVAILABLE AND PENDING THE APPROVAL OF THE POLICY BOARD, A SECOND STIPEND MAY BE AWARDED BASED ON TIME-STAMPED REGISTRATIONS.
IN ORDER TO RECEIVE CREDIT, EVIDENCE OF COMPLETED WORK MUST BE PROVIDED TO THE COURSE INSTRUCTOR.
